Here's my other Holiday commission, a pencil crayon drawing based on a photo of a cat. Compared to the trailer, I completed this really fast, because it was a lot more fun to do.

my favourite part is the way the light is shining through its ears.

I liked a LOT, how we can see the weave in the wool, the illumination on the cat's ears, how the ears show how the light cames from behind and the window.

Thanks a lot!

With coloured pencils, I start by sketching lightly with a neutral colour like brown, and slowly building up the layers of colour and texture.
