And here's this week's drawing! It's kind of a continuation of my "How to Felt a Hat" comic (see it here: [link] ), only this one is less instructional and more about the fun of knitting. If you're a big knitting geek like me, you might notice that the hat is made from "Bernat Boa" eyelash yarn, which is totally fun to work with because you end up with a fabric similar to fun-fur, but shinier.

The portrait is of me, wearing the completed hat! So fun to draw.

I used aqua ink and watercolour washes on paper.

OK, so thematically this is not necessarily my speed, but what does impress me with Knitting a Hat by ~angelajordan is that it actually has a narrative character, and carries it through to completion very well. It's use of minimalist color per panel is also notable. (Suggested by `RockGirl1582 and Featured by `zeruch)

I love your comics! It's an interesting idea to make a tutorial in a form of a comic, as you did with "How to felt a hat".
Ohh, that watercolour texture looks so cool!

Thanks a lot! The watercolour part was fun to do. I just laid on the colour, and it dried in totally unexpected ways. It was hard trying to keep the hands white though!

You're welcome! I guess there's nothing much to do about it since painting could be quite messy at times :)

Thanks, I was quite happy with how the hands are convincingly realistic.
