Another self-portrait! I actually finished this one before the one I posted before, which was a self-portrait in winter. This was completed in four hours by looking in a mirror, using only the primary colours of pencil crayon. I like the other portrait better, I think it has more intensity in the expression, this one is a little more scared-looking.

Overall I am pretty pleased with both of them!

This is great. I love how many different colors you used in the hair especially. And it helps that the subject is so pretty ;o I wish I was better at more traditional art like this :/

ha ha ha, thanks for the compliment! *blush* I may have accentuated my looks juuust a little, that's what's so great about drawing portraits! I like the way the hair turned out too. I was just laying down strokes of red, yellow, and blue, and where they overlapped it created a whole lot of colours, while looking blonde from a distance.

Wonderful sensitive use of coloured pencils, i like how you've captured a sense of uncertainty. The colours are brilliant, they move the work :)

You captured the look of hesitation perfectly. It makes a much more striking portrait than if you were smiling. The colours and shading are gorgeous too!

I love the way you used the colours. It has so much depth and feeling. Its gorgeous!
