Silver Tiara

I made this in sculpture class while I was in high school. I really wanted to make an elven, fantasy-style forehead-tiara to wear to prom. My dress matched the beads, aqua and purple, and I used some leftover beads to decorate my shoes! I cast the central pendant, and the two flanking arms are made of pounded silver with silver wire designs. I had a lot of fun polishing the silver until it shone. When I watched the third Lord of the Rings movie, as soon as I saw the tiara Liv Tylor was wearing, I went, "That's what I wanted to make!"
