The Plains of Mars by angelajordan The Plains of Mars by angelajordan
This is a watercolor based on photos from the Mars landers, and my own imagination. It's part of a long series I've done this year that describes the journey of a man on Mars.

I really like this, I'm really interested to see more of the series, and I have a feeling you'd like my stuff

Really lovely. I am reading Frank Herbert's Dune series right now. So you'll understand why I love this :D And it's a good painting too.

Thanks a lot! I got into a phase in which I was absolutely captivated by the colours of the martian landscape. I produced a lot of red desert paintings during that time ^_^

is there a reason for the square shadow?

Ha ha ha . . . no reason. It is kind of a weird shape, isn't it?
